() Character Name(s): Tunc Dominic Lennox
() Nicks: Fra. Abaddon 888 2* IOT, Tuncy, Shotglass, Cunt
() Race/Species: human
() Gender: Male
() Phenotypical Age: late twenties
() Actual Character Age: 28 (April 13)
() Home Territory: Denver, Colorado (A&D Earth, 2000)
() Height: 6 ft 0 in
() Weight: 186 lbs.
() Physical Build: mildly built
() Physical Description:
Body:
Tunc is one of those mildly built military dudes. His eyes are green with red rims, his hair brown and trimmed close. The near constant physical strife and his regular workouts have given him a hardened look, though his strength is more in his skillful use of what he has. The same strife has caused gray hairs to show themselves, and lines beginning to show his age.
Tattoos:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Chaosphere.gif http://seasonofclarity.deviantart.com/art/Tunc-L-Hand-Palm-s-52301547
The first tattoo is that of the Chaos Sphere, an 8-pointed circle drawn in Celtic knotwork using silver ink outlining black ink; it is centered on Tunc’s chest. This is the Seal, a mark used by Temples to regulate and control the progression of Neophytes and Initiates.
Next is the Sephiroth, also called the Tree of Life, sprawling across Tunc’s back. A detailed tree with 6 branches holding spheres, 1 sphere at the root, and 4 spaced between the branches in the trunk. Each is a different color, while the main color is brown with gold ink outline.
The most prominent is the black and red flame tattoo that covers the left hand all the way up to the upper bicep. Unlike normal tattoos which cannot cover the elbow or inner elbow, the magical nature of this tattoo (its tie to Abaddon) has caused it to spread unnaturally over Tunc’s arm. The palm is distinct with a circle, in which the sigil of The Conqueror sits in black ink.
Scars:
The man is scarred, lets face it. There’s a scar across the bridge of his nose under his eyes, and a thick scar down the left side of his neck just over his collarbone. There are 4 claw-like scars on the outer edges (each) of his back, starting at the shoulder blades and extending to mid-back. One long scar down his right side from mid-chest to hip, and one on his left leg from hip to mid-thigh. Lastly, a scar across the upper part of his chest over the Chaos Star.
Clothing
Being slightly near-sighted, he sports small, rectangle framed glasses. Traditionally seen wearing woodland camo BDU pants tucked into black leather combat boots w/ steel toes, and a black crew-neck T tucked into the pants. Two daggers are always hidden on his person, either in the boots, inside the leg pockets, or in his coat. The athame rests on his left hip, while his USP is strapped to his upper right leg. The overcoat is a dark grey color, duster-style. Wears a Chaos Star shaped ring on right middle finger.
Chaoist:
Physically this is Tunc, but with a change of clothes. Wears black cloth pants belted with a black cord. Hooded black robe leaving about 6” of opening in the front with loose sleeves to the elbows. Face is hidden by a ceramic white mask, plain featured with holes for eyes and to breathe and with the sections of the left eye and right mouth broken off. Sandaled.
() Personal Information, History, Background:
World
Similar to standard Earth, with the exception of magic working quite well, and in different ways. Magic Cults are much like gangs towards each other, and often fight over territory, though they try to keep such conflicts hidden from the public. This is kinda the short version.
Char
Tunc was born in Colorado. His father had recently passed away in a work-related accident, but Tunc never found out exactly what his father had done for a living. All he knew later is that it had to involve the military, cause he grew up on Peterson AFB near Colorado Springs.
Growing up on base was a different experience for the kid. Everytime he made a friend, they seemed to leave suddenly, since most were children of other soldiers. Around the time he started middle school, Tunc no longer sought to make friends, expecting that they would always leave him later.
Towards the end of high school, Tunc was finally being drawn out of his shell by a group of friends who all shared the aspirations to enlist after graduation. One of then, Sellie, eventually became his girlfriend, starting around the beginning of senior year.
When graduation came about, Tunc decided, much to the surprise of his new friends, to join them in enlisting. Being as Peterson was an Air Force base, they all joined the Air Force. Shortly after, Desert Storm began. They were all seperated into different units and shipped off, as the Air Force sought to secure its place amongst the U.S. Military Services. <1990, he is 17>
Desert Storm ended fairly quickly and easily, though Tunc lost contact with most of his friends during the time. He had served as a machinist airman, working in the European theater. He never saw direct combat, and was shortly after sent state-side. Once home, he sought to discover what happened to his friends. While most of them had done well, Sellie been killed in a IED incident only a few days from the end of the conflict.
Pretty well torn apart, Tunc listlessly went through the rest of his carreer till he was honorably discharged at 21, claiming inability to work due to PTSD. <1994, E-3> Because he had served, his friends were able to convince him to attend a university in hopes that it would turn him back around. It did, but not how they expected. He went to University of Colorado after the securing the necessary tests and applications. <1996, 23>
Tunc had always been interested in the occult and magic, since his childhood games about such. Scanning through the library one day, he found a collection of papers written by a previous student regarding something called Chaos Magicks. Fascinated with the theories presented in the papers, he studied them for quite some time before deciding to change his major. Originally he had been a mechanical engineering major, now he wanted to be a Occult major.
Of course, such a thing didn't exist, so he instead went into English, seeing as the papers seemed to focus on word use for the magicks. It was during his studies in the library that he ran into an older man in the same part of the library. Though Tunc was wary at making friends at first, he found that they shared much the same interests. A year later, the man, Charles, introduced Tunc to the Illuminates of Thanateros.
Tunc was quick to join, taking the psuedoname Abaddon upon becoming a Neophyte (degree 4) in 1998 at 25. He studied hard, though he found it difficult at times to do both the IOT and his schoolwork. In 1999, he achieved the rank of Initiate after providing a treatise on the Tree of Life and its influences in his own brand of Chaos Magick. He also chose to use a tattoo system for storing the required energies, instead of the seal system used by the majority.
On his 26th birthday, a friend of Tunc's from the Armenian Society (which was on cordial terms with the IOT) got him an inscribed Francesca. The friend, Melissa (Avalon), never told him what the runes meant. The next year, Tunc was heading to a meeting with Charles--whose IOT name was Lexicon--when a rift opened beneath his feet and dropped him to K.
On 3/7/07 near midnight, Tunc was bitten and infected with the Ternion Virus by Cassandra-as-Lorelei-as-Werewolf (virus information:
http://forums.kaerwyn.com/showthread.php?t=2204 ). On 3/29/07 he received the cure from Doc. Riley.
While on Leap: Local Naughtiness IV, Tunc was infected by a Master Plaga. The full details of what this entails can be found in the "Plague of Parasites" miniplot thread. Parasite removed by surgery, but did it leave anything?
Learned how to use Kaerwyn like the Dragons do in December of 2007. Ability to do so revoked following the end of ATLV War. Not too long thereafter, he was transformed into a Shire Horse by the Tural, allowing him to break through to his Aetheric Beast.
Finally, he returned home to take the highly dangerous Adept Test in hopes of breaking free of the chains he saw on himself. Things did not work out exactly as planned.
() How He Arrived on Kaerwyn:
Fell through a rift while walking to a meeting of the IOT. SNAPBACK: Rescued by Endymion and Ztero.
() Magical Abilities:
MMM
- Banishing Ritual
Description of Ability : A well-constructed banishing ritual has the following effects. It prepares the magician more rapidly for magical concentration than any of the trance exercises alone (eases Gnosis). It enables the magician to resist obsession if problems are encountered with dream experiences or with sigils becoming conscious (allows to free from rituals). It also protects the magician from any hostile occult influences which may assail him (psychic and illusionary effects cast against the Chaoist standing in the field have a 30% chance of failing).
Limitations : The ritual takes 10 minutes to establish, and requires a Banishing Weapon or other Ritual Weapon bonded to the Chaoist.
Repercussions : The casting takes no drain, requiring only minor unnoticeable amounts of drain as it goes. The Ritual’s effectiveness to withstand assault can be bolstered (to 50%) by draining 1 level per 10 mins.
Nox
- The Double
Description of Ability : An aetheric force inherent to the Chaoist and held in the shape of their body, with the help of the Chaoist’s Aetheric Beast (Totem) it can be projected beyond the body by force of will. Like all aetheric matter, its effects on ordinary reality are variable and depend on the ability of the life force to make a real effect coalesce at some point. Thus, the double is able to penetrate solid matter, but at other times it may have a degree of tangibility and be able to affect material happenings.
Based upon the Chaoist’s knowledge and control of the Beast, attempts to use the Double have a set % fail, that can decrease by 2% every attempt or 5% every success (min of 20%). The Double can be manipulated in the following ways:
- Force Projection
The Double can be used to project existing force away from the body. Punches, kicks, and blocks are the most overt uses. But even flicks can be thrown a short distance away with the power of the Double. This can also up to double a single motion’s strength, or speed of motion.
- Sense Ping
With a moment of concentration solely on the Double, it can be launched from the Chaoist a very short distance to get a sense of objects existing in that space. Specifics cannot be judged, only presence.
- Scare
The Aetheric Beast’s symbolic tie to the animal world and literal tie to the occult world allows it to be used in a burst to try and frighten simple animals and beasts. The major drawback of this use is that it forces the Beast to withdraw from the Chaoist for 20 minutes (no other use of the Double).
Limitations : Must have full access to his will.
Repercussions : Minor headache, but no actual drain.
Lux
- Gnosis
Description of Ability : The state of No-Mind. In order to perform many abilities, he must enter this state of concentration. There are several ways to enter this state, and each differs in time required and success. It is within the instant of Gnosis that a person’s focus and ability to manipulate their energy hit their peak. Methods vary wildly on requirements and limitations.
- Inhibitory: Death Posture, Magical Trance Concentration, Sleeplessness/Fasting/Exhaustion, Gazing, Hypnotic/Trance Drugs, Sensory Deprivation.
- Exhibitory: Sexual Excitation, Emotional Arousal (Fear/Anger/Horror), Pain/Torture, Dancing/Drumming/Chanting, Excitatory/Disinhibitory Drugs, Forced Over-Breathing, Sensory Overload.
Repercussions : None outside effects of method (drugs, exhaustion)
- Augoeides
Description of Ability : The magician's most important invocation is that of his Genius, Daemon, True Will, or Augoeides. This operation is traditionally known as attaining the Knowledge and Conversation of the Holy Guardian Angel. It is sometimes known as the Magnum Opus or Great Work. The Augoeides may be defined as the most perfect vehicle of Kia on the plane of duality. As the avatar of Kia on earth, the Augoeides represents the true will, the raison d'etre of the magician, his purpose in existing.
- The Conqueror
This is Tunc’s Holy Guardian, the First Horseman of the Apocalypse. He is Tunc’s defender in matters spiritual and psychic. While not an entity of his own, he is a collection of aspects within Tunc’s self, gathered together and given a portion of Tunc’s will to perform his task.
Repercussions : None, as The Conqueror is not corrupted.

Other : This weapon is considered--for the purposes of Chaos Magick rituals--bonded. It has been bathed in Tunc’s blood, so that only he may use it in said rituals. This is not an actual magic in and of itself, but a requirement of the magical rituals that use it. It can be used in rituals to track a person by sympathy with ease.

- Magical Theory
Basically, his use and practice of Chaos Magick has given him the grounds to puzzle out other, defined forms of magic. Defined forms are those that operate under a set of laws and it is the following of those laws that allows the magic. Chaos Theory is also part of the required studies for the Illuminates of Thanateros.
- Sigil Artistry
Having taken some basic art courses as electives to assist his ability to draw complex and powerful sigils. He is fairly skilled, but finds it difficult at times to obtain new patterns.
- Machining
After working a few years with the Air Force machine shops and studying mechanical engineering a little, he is a fairly skilled machinist, being able to design and build most parts so long as he has time and detailed plans for the part's use. EDIT: Has become much more proficient and capable of designing from scratch after working closely with the shops he has.
- Gun Modification/Construction
Gaining skill with construction and modification of firearms of various styles and sizes. Can typically build one from scratch with a lot of work, and handle repairs on most styles. Knows how to build a coilgun from his own plans and designs.

() Character Relations:
- Callie (Calypso, Hecate): Mage of 2007, who seems quite knowledgeable. Irritatingly so at times, but Tunc still finds qualities of her attractive, both physically and mentally. He considers her a friend, someone he can trust to be both blunt and helpful. She is now his lover, and he greatly enjoys what time he can spend with her. Most all of the quirks he found odd or irritating before have become endearing, in a way.
- Tomiko (Warlord Tomiko, Coordinator of the Draconis Combine, Khan of Clan Smoke Jaguar, and doctor of quantum physics): An interesting one. From the future. Gone
- Jonas (Jonas Walker): Employer, space captain. Gone
- Anne (?): Someone he apparently saved? He's foggy on the details, but knows it involved the werewolf that ended up biting him. She claims to have given him the face scar. Gone
- Adela (Lady Adela Nightchild): The big walking maker of chaos. Very interested in how she works magic, and whether the chaos she generates can be used to power his own brand of magic. She is a good friend and he will defend her to those that would hold a bias against her magic. Chaos must stand together. He realizes that she seems to have a crush on him, but tries not to let that get in the way for their friendship.
- Quareolin (Quareolin’alakae): Drow and fellow employee. Has some interesting tastes (though expected from a Drow). Also seems to like the combination of short skirts, no panties, and watching people while they work from high places. Now to be wary of, after their encounter while shifted left him both used and abused. However, after her leap, seems a little better and he has restarted his friendship with her, though cautious. Gone
- Lenoth (Redwynd): Elf woman who likes to call everyone else ‘kid’. She seems very capable in her own right, and also a very lively and open woman.
- Angusei (Dame Angusei): A human woman that is very beautiful, but also a shapeshifter so he wonders if that beauty is to be trusted as fact. She seems to have a bit of a past to her, and has lived on Kaerwyn for far longer than anyone else he’s met, with the exception of Lorelei. Gone
- Nikodemos (Nick): The bishie boy who crashed through Adela’s window. Now his housemate, he’s gotten to know him only a little better (different schedules). But he seems like an OK guy. Gone
- Endymion Gaelin (Endy): A guy from the Order of Lore’s world, but far in the past. Originally Tunc thought him a bit arrogant and racist. But after a long period of time he’s become one of Tunc’s good friends, and someone he can trust with all things mundane and magical.
- Niixa Gaelin:
- Ridemaster August: Once a pain in his ass, now an employee, August is one of those people you just know you're gonna be at odds with. While she seems alright now after Callie convinced her, her views on Chaos and Demons leave Tunc wondering when he'll find her sword in his back.
- Amarantos (Rant): A bit of an odd and eccentric fellow, the Shop's best current dildo customer.
- Jennifer-Anne: A nice girl, who seems to have adjusted well. The interest she's shown in magic, and her ability to grasp what he's explained to her, gives Tunc a good outlook on her future on Kaerwyn.
- Hacha: A fairly good friend, the large skunk man worked with him at Nova before Tunc moved to Yel's shop. He continued training him in other machining skills after, though. Gone
- Yelena (Yel): Tunc's boss for a time, after she was turned into a hyena by a rogue mage during the WoC2. He thought her a nice woman, and pretty despite her form. He ended up having sex with her when they were both drunk at the Shop. Gone
- Trevelyan: The man's a bit of an ass, and troublemaker. Not to mention he went out of his way to fool people when he was turned into a woman.
- Vera: An interesting woman, who shows knowledge of the occult but no skill in it, which Tunc finds a bit odd. She was once a kitsune, but had the other tails removed by Adela, which he could understand. Her being a Nazi has little bearing on his view of her, as her world's Nazis are far removed from his.
()Mindscape
Tunc's Mindscape: This Cross I Bear
Being raised Roman Catholic, much of Tunc's life and understanding has been flavored by the religion he never truly cast aside upon becoming a Chaoist. His mindscape is established in the image of a cross.
The Mirrored Floor?
In all places one walks, below their feet walks a shadow copy of themselves. All structures can also be seen in the mirror world at the walker's feet. Yet in places, this mirror world seems strangely different. Is it a mirror...or a window?
The Ley Lines
Spiraling and twisting out of the Center in patterns more complex than can be known (for they seem to shift often) are the black lines of Tunc's Kia, or Chaos Magick. They travel to each of the four points, outlining the cross that is the central theme of the establishment. Oddly, they seem to lie between the mirror floor and the world beyond.
The Holes
Scattered about at random lie holes that seem to ignore the Mirror World, their sides looking like burrows of some creature. Rarely pieces of Tunc's personality can be seen trying to fill these in. Jumping into one ejects the visitor from the mindscape. They are the result of the Plaga's own mind.
- The South: Reason-- Looking south, a small building can be seen. It lies in good repair, but has an air of the antique about it. Through the oaken door one finds a great machine shop, with tools, diagrams, and half-built machines scattered about. Strewn across the floor are shards of bronze, pieces of failed constructs from their look. But each is a failure Tunc has made in rationalizing something he has said, thought, or done.
- The Neverfinishing: Standing amidst the debris is a mechanical skeleton of bronze. Yet as one watches, parts of him crumble, crack, dent, and tarnish. Constantly he accepts replacements from half-there ghosts who operate the various tools, casting aside pieces at seeming random. Should he one day ever be whole, Self-Doubt will be cast aside.
- Mirror World: When the Neverfinishing is viewed in the Mirror, it can be seen as a structure of true flesh and bone, its face torn away. It seeks to tear itself apart, yet always seems to heal back quickly.
- Naberius (Guilt): A raven sitting on the shoulders of the Neverfinishing, pecking constantly at his body to break pieces off. When viewed through the mirror, he is a three headed dog tearing at the flesh mirror of the Neverfinishing. Speaks with a hoarse voice if queried, and seems to carry torn pages of memories in his feet.
- The East: Memory-- To the east lies a structure formed of bookshelves, though all those shelves facing outward are empty. The door is hidden amongst the shelves as one itself. Once inside, the seemingly massive library is filled to all capacity with books, each representing a different memory as Tunc's mind has organized them. Each appears in a section of the place as he labels it, meaning that a single memory may appear in many places at once.
- The Opposing Librarians: Honesty is a naked humanoid male in the prime of his life without a face. Secrecy is genderless, swathed in clothes so that nothing is visible but his white hands and one red eye. Deceit is a woman in men's clothing, whose eyes and hair change. Each will perform different actions if a visitor requests a memory of them. Secrecy generally tries to prevent visitors from pulling down memories, but in most cases can be fended off easily. There are, however, his choice few that he will almost kill to defend.
- Memory Gaps: While every bookshelf is supposed to look full, in places there are gaps, things missing. At times Honesty and Deceit may be seen trying to write those books to fill the gaps. But of course, their nature constrains them in what they may write.
- Mirror World: Every so often one of the librarians will attempt to pass a memory through the floor, or receive one up from it. On the other side can be seen a single entity, dressed in fantastical clothing and uniquely imagined each time he is looked at. Who is this? Why does he pass books with Memory?
- The West: Solace-- Here lies a forest, its trees seemingly different to each who views them. It is deathly silent
in fact, visitors have to struggle to speak, and the words always seem too loud once uttered. Only a short distance in is a clearing. If Tunc's own Avatar is not in residence, the grass (there is no mirror floor in the clearing itself) is pressed in as though someone was kneeling. There are animal tracks that cross in front of this kneeling place, but when one looks at them they cannot figure out what animal they belong to, for they change.
- Aetheric Beast: There is none visible, as Tunc does not yet know what it is.
- Mirror World: Before the clearing, the mirror of the trees shows them in winter snows.
- The North: Belief-- A grand cathedral in gothic architectural style. Within lies a worship hall devoid of pews, but instead...
- The Sephiroth: To walk from the door to the altar requires following the path of the Sephiroth. Each entity is carved into the floor and glows with its own color. Above each stands its Archangel, who will bar passage to those who do not have their piece of creation within them (wisdom, kindness, etc). For brevity, I won't list them.
- Mirror World: Looking down can be seen the Qlippothic demons mirrored to each Archangel.
- The Center: Holy Guardian Demon-- In the center of the cross there is a large circular door of iron, sealed with a Chaos Star. Above it floats the shadow of Abaddon. While typically shadowy, his left arm appears real and on fire to match Tunc's flame tattoo. In states of Gnosis, his entire self is real. Above them, in the empty sky, a single star shines. Abaddon seems to watch this star closely, too.
- The Hammers: Two figures beat on the door with large mallets, trying to break through. One is Ambition, who believes there is great power beyond the door, because all the Kia flows from it. The other is Self-Destruction, who believes the tale of Revelations means beyond is the Abyss, which will swallow all whole. Each will flee if confronted. Ambition is a shadow dressed in regal finery, with power glowing in its eyes and hands. Self-Destruction is a shadow with massive white scars and missing pieces.
- Mirror World: What's this? If one looks at such an angle, a figure can be seen mirroring Abaddon's flowing shadow. But this one seems cloaked in ice and white. However, no more can be told of it. Tunc does not know of its existence, and will not see it if it is pointed out to his Avatar.

- Trine (First):
- The first trine consists of the Rat, Dragon, and Monkey. These three signs are intense and powerful individuals, capable of great good or great evil. They make great leaders, but the three have different approaches. Rats and Dragons have a tendency to be quite dictatorial and autocratic, whilst monkeys are more diplomatic. Frustrated when hampered, these signs are ruled by highly potent energy and unpredictability. They are intelligent, magnanimous, charismatic, charming, authoritative, confident, eloquent and artistic. They can also be tyrannical, bombastic, prejudiced, deceitful, imperious, ruthless, power-hungry, and megalomaniacal.
- Sign:
- Being the first sign of the Chinese zodiac, rats are leaders, pioneers and conquerors. They are charming, passionate, charismatic, practical and hardworking. Rat people are endowed with great leadership skills and are perhaps the most organized and systematic of the twelve signs. Intelligent and cunning at the same time, rats are highly ambitious and strong-willed people who are keen and unapologetic promoters of their own agendas, which often include money and power. They are energetic and versatile and can usually find their way around obstacles, and adapt to various environments easily. A rat's natural charm and sharp demeanor make it an appealing friend for almost anyone, but rats are usually highly exclusive and selective when choosing friends and so often have only a few very close friends whom they trust.
- Behind the smiles and charm, rats can be terribly obstinate and controlling, insisting on having things their way no matter what the cost. These people tend to have an immense control of their emotions, which they may use as a tool to manipulate and exploit another person, both emotionally and mentally. Rats are masters of mind games and can be very dangerous, calculating and downright cruel if the need arises. Quick-tempered and aggressive, they will not think twice about exacting revenge on those that hurt them in any way. Rats need to learn to relax sometimes, as they can be quite obsessed with detail, intolerant and strict, demanding order, obedience, and perfection.
- A valuable lesson for Rats is to learn to consider others before themselves, at least sometimes, and to avoid forcing their ideas onto others. Rats are fair in their dealings and expect the same from others in return, and can be deeply affronted if they feel they have been deceived or that their trust has been abused. Sometimes they set their targets too high, whether in relation to their friends or in their career. But as the years pass, they will become more idealistic and tolerant. If they can develop their sense of self and realize it leaves room for others in their life as well, Rats can find true happiness.
- According to tradition, Rats often carry heavy karma and at some point in life may face an identity crisis or some kind of feeling of guilt. Rats are said to often have to work very long and hard for everything they may earn or have in life. However, a Rat born during the day is said to have things a bit easier than those who are born at night. Traditionally, Rats born during the night may face extreme hardships and suffering throughout life.
- Traditionally, Rats should avoid Horses, but they can usually find their best friends and love interests in Monkeys, Oxen, and Dragons.
