Thought-guiding (also referred to as The Xai'Kanra) is the common term for the natural telekinesis of the
Xarax-hil. The mechanics of the ability is theorized to be the species' natural control of
arcanoenergetic force (AEF), the same magical force that drives the more dramatic forms of
Xarax-hil magic. Most notable of all these things is that the
Xarax-hil perceive the use of this ability as sound, whereas any other use of
AEF cannot be sensed at all.
Rules of Thought-guiding
- One person to a target: Once an object is 'locked' in a thought-guide, any attempts by another party to achieve a lock automatically fail.
- Line of Sight or Intimate Knowledge Required: Intimate knowledge is defined in this sense as being capable to accurately picture in one's mind the distance, shape, and orientation of the target object.
- Solid Objects Only.
- Newtonian Physics Still Applies: That is to say, an object held in thought-guide must still accelerate into its intended vector. There are no instantaneous changed in speed or direction.
- Cannot Cause Direct Harm: No telekinetic 'daggers' and the like. Using 'guided' objects to cause harm is permitted.
