Niixa is the illegitimate child of Neek'rhael Iiroz, who was drugged into supplying the Centrus woman Rosa with a procyonid child whose original name of "Neesa" was modified at her father's insistance. The young half-XH spent her early childhood on Centrus, living her first two years with Rosa and her husband Joseph. Neek's eventual return sparked a course of events that resulted in Niixa being placed in the care of the Iiroz family on Errux. Once he placed his daughter in the waiting arms of the Family nanny, Neek returned to Kaerwyn. After spending an appreciable amount of time on Kaerwyn, Niixa's father returned a few hours after leaving due to desynchronous rates of time.
Niixa's childhood was rather lonely, her exotic features alienating her from her peers. Most of her days were spent in relative isolation, attending the Academy with focus places on her studies out of both boredom and the thirst for attention. This succeeded in attracting Ahnmanie Hakedta, son of Neek's bodyguard and friend Ranan Hakedta. A minor fling was had, which dissolved over the course of two years as Niixa's abilities brought her into the arcane fields well ahead of Ahnmanie's attempts to follow. Alone once more, she refocused her efforts back upon her education.
The importance of the halfblood's otherworldly origin made itself known as she progressed along her career in arcanery. While it was assumed that she was one of the unfortunate few who lacked the ability to thought-guide, the innate talent simply worked on an entirely different aspect of reality: her magic. Unlike her kin, she possessed the ability to draw a fair amount of energy directly from within. This unique and prestigious ability pulled her through the ranks quickly, giving her time to branch out to many varieties of Xarax-hil arcanery.
Niixa's career as an arcanist carried with it a mandatory tour of service in the military. Her talent in her magic further pressed her into service as one of the TuaonemiMixao Tuaonemi Mixao, the fire support arcanists of the Inhanai. While she was initially required to only serve four years of duty, a war between the Iirozians and the Tunani forced her to remain in service for a long fifteen years of brutal frontline fighting that would shape her from the happy child she once was and into a hardened soldier who had seen the ugly nature of war.
Military service behind her, Niixa'ntaena was once again forced to adapt. This time, the veteran was forced to find a niche in civillian society. In a fit of compromise, she joined the Academy as an instructor of the very magics she practiced in the military. After a few years of such, she eventually rose to the position of Headmistress of the Academy and kept it up to the point she left Errux for Kaerwyn.
Since coming to Kaerwyn, Niixa found the Raekartan human Endymion Gaelin as a lover and eventual husband, survived major altercations with Reklar werewolves and Rolatudan, and abandoned her procyonid nature to join her husband in humanity.
