Physical Description:

A quite sweet looking female human seemingly in her late twenties. She has hazel eyes, and dark black hair. She has thin lips, and a knowing look to her face. Italian facial features, along with C-cup breasts and an outstanding physique. She has a large circular tattoo on her chest, done in all black.

Those who can sense magic, or detect it will most likely immediately know something’s up with her (Exudes minor magic aura most of the time).

Personal Information, History, Background:

Mina DeGous, was born into her world on September 5, 1980 to a unwed mother who died soon after labor. Mina spent her early years in an Christian orphanage in southern Italy. Mina was a sweet child, though around 3 years of age her spiritual power began to manifest itself inside her. At first, Mina slowly developed a haunting aura. She found herself frightening infant children and provoking strange reactions from animals around her.

She soon drew the concern of the priests in charge of the orphanage, and a request from the Vatican was made to assess Mina. Was she possessed? A demon? Or was she special?

Envoy from the Vatican, Sir Walther Bean, An English chap, specializing in Demonology and the Occult arrived. Bean soon realized that Mina was not possessed, but of the insanely rare 'Otherkind'; one of only about two thousand or so worldwide. Mina was quickly spirited away so that the church could make use of her to further their own agenda.

At the age of only five, Mina began to be constantly trained and taught by some of the leading most specialists as well those that also had great spiritual power. She continued her education in Rome until the age of ten. She was told that she needed more specialized training, as she still found it hard to control her powers. It was here that Mina picked up the English language.

So Mina was sent to “Free Tibet” (In this universe the Chinese never took over) to be trained to be able to control her chi, and shape it into what she wanted it to do. The Monks of Tibet also taught Mina physical self defense arts, as well as discipline with her magic. For five years Mina studied the art of the spirit with the monks, as well as learning to speak Chinese fluently.

And so at the age of fifteen with her training complete in Tibet, she was sent back to Rome to continue her education in the liberal arts and sciences. She displayed great aptitude in physics, although her artwork was disappointing to say the least. A brute when it came to drawing things.

But despite Mina's poor attitude toward artwork, she was recognized as a person with great talent in the mage arts. At the age of twenty-two and still a virgin, she was recruited by the shadowy Knights Templar. She quickly gained experience in several amazing supernatural occurrences, ranging from zombies, to uber nasty ancient Chinese vampires.

Mina was dispatched to several locations all over the world, though she favored the Portland assignment, due to it's seemingly minor occurrences, nice people, and good public transit system. There she developed many contacts for the realm of the supernatural; bookstore owners, diviners, hobo-sages.

Current happenings, Mina was captured with her guard down in such a quiet town; by nothing less then the Minos Cult (An fairly wealthy underground organization based in Crete, whom are at odds with the Knights Templar for several “interruptions“. Human sacrifice, as well as rituals meant to influence politics and economics are not out of their realm). Mina unwittingly was baited into a room by an informant that was being paid off by the Minos Cult. She had thought the old downtown Portland building to be just a private place to meet this person, but in reality, it had been prepared with a special seal on magic. She entered the room, Mina tried to exercise her talents once the trap was sprung only to be shut down by the room's blood seals that had been so cleverly covered with wallpaper.

She was then drugged, and moved to another location to prevent any help arriving when Mina did not check in. When she awoke, she found herself bound in a chair, still heavily sedated from the drugs she had been given, unable to gather herself to do anything. All she could see was a blurred man in some sort of robes holding a knife, with a fuzzy outline of an altar and many unrecognizable people standing around it.

How She Arrived on Kaerwyn:

Mina entered Kaerwyn bound to a chair, naked, gagged, and heavily drugged; with various occult symbols written on her skin.

Supernatural Abilities:

Capable of preforming feats of higher orders of magic, Mina possesses a wide array of inherent and trained magical abilities. She could be considered one of the most powerful magic users on kaerwyn. She possesses abilities that allow her (among other things) to; gain access to secured or inaccessible locations, use intermediate magics while under duress, move almost instantly to remote locations, destroy electronic equipment without physical contact, alter bodily energies, greatly defend against foreign supernatural abilities.

Description: Self defense training. Taught by monks. Though not mentioned in her actual character sheet due to EvilWall's error, Mina's fighting style is Chinese in origin; San Soo to be specific.
