Looks like your basic, lightly tanned, human, with a few changes. The most notable is his ears, which are long and elfin, a trait of the Elicitay. Eyes are a smoking gray with flecks that seem to reflect like mirrors. Tendril tatoos in gray, white, and black across chest and wrapping around arms. Satchel slung over shoulder. His hair is a mixture of various shades of gray, black, and dirty white, cropped fairly close and stylish. Typically wears ripped blue jeans, fitted and patterned T-shirts, and leather boots, sometimes including an aussie style leather hat. His pugio hangs at his waist.
() Personal Information, History, Background:
World: There are two main races. The first, and original, are the Suenari, who could easily pass as human to others. The second are the Angdri. While the Suenari were entering into the equivalent of the Renasance, the elemental spirits that existed in the world decided they wanted physical shape.
They stole Suenari children and molded them, and when they were "reborn", they were living shells to hold the elementals. After 100 years, the Angdri were plentiful and giving natural birth to more of their kind.
<The 3rd race--the Fae or Unknown Elementals--include dragons (small), fairies, anthro-beasts, and were-beasts. These creatures exist in the 3rd Realm, whereas the mortal realm is the 2nd, and the Elemental the 1st. Though they can cross to the 2nd Realm, it is extremely rare and little is known about them beyond legend.>
However, the Suenari eventually discovered the truth of the Angdri and waged war against them, believing them evil for the fact that the originals were stolen Suenari children. The Angdri fought back fiercely, using their elemental powers to the fullest. The war raged for 400 years, and pushed both races back into the dark ages.
At last, when neither side could remember the truth of why the war started, it stopped. The Suenari and Angdri agreed to live seperately, easily done with natural boundries like mountains and seas. But the volotile nature of the elementals, not all of which got along, led to mini-wars amongst the Angdri.
When the phenotype wars reached the point that children would be killed at the first sign of their phenotype not matching their parents, enlightened members of the Angdri met with the Suenari and forged a pact. Angdri children would be sent to special Houses in bordering Suenari towns, where they would be raised till their 10th year. In return, the Suenari gained access to many Angdri resources and trade.
Because of the harsh lives the Angdri lived (being behind technology compared to the Suenari) and because a way to identify them was needed, the Suenari passed into law that any Angdri over 5 years of age in a Suenari city was required to wear a special dagger. While the originals were unsharpened, they often became so as soon as the Angdri left for their realm.
Over the next few decades, though internal battles still waged among the Angdri, relations with the Suenari have increased. The Suenari are reaching pre-WWI stage, while the Angdri are coming close to having an Industrial Revolution.
Char: Kori's life pretty much followed the standard life of an Angdri child. He was a "reborn", which was rare in that time, but impossible for any to tell. Left on the House's steps, he was taken in and raised. His "moment", the point at which their hair changes colors and they discover their phenotype, came late in his life, at 6.
After watching smokers and then playing with their smoke, he himself took it up, though severely punished by his House Master for it. Because of his phenotype, it doesn't do anything to him, so he didn't care. He has since switched to using herbal powders for smoking.
After leaving the House and finding a Smoke community, he learned from other Artisans. For awhile, during his apprenticeship, he did what one would expect of a teenage boy--ie. trouble-making, hanging out with fellows, "playing the field" so to speak. It wasn't until his 17th year, after getting in serious trouble with his Master, that he began to straighten up. Once he proved he could be serious about his work, his Master began teaching him Mirror Illusion.
Intensely curious as to the origins of the Angdri, he began wandering the Angdri lands in search of knowledge after his apprenticeship ended at 18. He has since had many encounters with Angdri of the various types, though not all were friendly. Rapidly, he learned the "politics" of the Angdri peoples--who each type were friendly to, and who they weren't. Eager to have as much freedom of movement as possible, he would perform whatever rites were deemed necessary to be an associate of each Type.
Now at 24, he is very close to the truth of the Angdri, even if he doesn't know it. His studies have given him a grasp of the original Elemental language, as well as some of the corruptions of English used amongst some of the people. He has also spent a few years chasing down knowledge on the legends of the Fae Element, but has so far come up only with what creatures they were.
He has status with the following Types: Shadow (friend), Earth (associate), Water (land-friend), Wind (enemy).
After-K:
Recently he was rifted to Alexandria in ancient times, where he spent a year hiding out in the Library of Alexandria. Following a trip home in which Taz related her fear of him leaving her, he underwent changes though Adela to become an Elicitay, physically.

() Magical/Psychokinetic/pathic Abilities:

Elemental Soul Draw: Koricos draws all his will and power from his elemental soul. As such:
Koricos has discovered the something about the Angdri and their abilities. By pushing himself \way\ too far, he fell into himself and was briefly entrapped by the will of his own elemental. This is a new reprecussion that will be applied to all Angdri created (by myself or approved others). First off, they will keep trying to use their abilities, and won't be responsive to vocal/visual attempts to stop. Most elementals will also repeat the most recent emotive goal (for example, Kori wanting to hurt Toru).
The result is rapid building of internal damages, such as headaches, nosebleeds, weakening lungs, limbs, etc. Mostly it depends on the individual Type. For Koricos, it is headache, nausea, nosebleed, and lung damage. He can be snapped out of it by physical contact. These effects can last for days, as it is really them draining out their own soul's energy.

Smoke Type
Description of Ability : Two parts. Controlling the movement of smoke follows Newton's Laws, basically meaning that it is easier to get it to do what its already doing. He can also thicken smoke to give it a physical effect, like strangling someone.
The second part is Creation. This is very difficult to do and becomes more so the more he tries to create. Once created is like any normal smoke.
CLARIFICATIONS: While being moved, the smoke acts like normal smoke physically, except that it iis being held to a shape. What is meant by thickening is that large amounts are forced into a small shape (condensing); how he would strangle someone would be to do this, then shove it into their nose or mouth, where it would follow its normal progress and reexpand, or try to. The normal physical characteristics of the smoke affect controlling, such as hot smoke being easier to make rise, smoke going in one direction easier to make continue that way.
Limitations : Works on any non-magic smoke. Shaping requires hand motions to draw the smoke into what he wants, thereby taking that hand out of use. Requires line-of-sight to influence, though can be held in place without LOS if already 'grabbed'. Limited to 10' for 'grabbing', can control to 15' afterwards.
Creating requires greater concentration. Can normally only perform once a day, but forcing himself to do more increases the reprecussions.
Reprecussions : Minor headaches if trying to Shape either very large amounts of smoke. Controling the amount needed to do a good thickening takes most all his concentration and afterwards strikes with a huge headache. Creating is same as controlling, plus nausea and exhaustion if done for too long. For both, the concentration required and reprecussions are directly related to the amount by which he is forcing it to ignore certain physical laws, like the effects of wind.

Mirror Illusion
Description of Ability : The ability to change the image contained within a reflective surface to suit his vision. As an illusion, it is subject to the mental defenses of those watching it. Lasts one minute after he stops concentrating.
Limitations : Warping can only be done on a reflective surface within 5', and is subject to the quality of reflection the object has to start.
Reprecussions : Warping requires concentration which can build into nausea if he is also watching the illusion.

Iron Lungs
Description of Ability : Immunity to inhaled poisons. Does not require oxygen to breathe, though does require something (vacuums and being choked still work to kill).
Limitations : Vapor/smoke must be non-magical in nature.
Reprecussions : Can get light-headed if breathe's too much non-oxygen, though this only affects balance a little and his general mood.
Physical Description: 6" blade and 5" handle. Single edged blade is carved with symbols in the Elemental languages. 2" ebony disk in guard bears symbol of phenotype, while a 1" glass ball in pommel holds symbol of Illusion.
Magical/Other: Nothing magical (to his knowledge), merely a symbol of his race. In reality, the symbol is a low powered reactive Ward. All it does is broadcast a simple signal if hit with a scanning Ward.
Training: Had it since he was 5, but never truely trained for use as an assualt weapon.

() Aspirations: Kori's all for as much knowledge as possible, for the most people possible. To this end he has been gathering info to try and educate his own people back home (to interesting results, methinks). However, my own goal for him is to shake him out of his control, and give him a little more perspective on his fellow Angdri. Not sure if how I planned on doing that will fall under the rules, we'll see when the time comes.
() Character Relations:

Ms. Levy (Jane): She has been truly helpful in starting Koricos off on Kaerwyn. He still feels mildly saddened for showing her what she looked like as a human in his mirror (not of course realizing she \was\)
GONE

Ms. Nightchild (Adela): How odd it is to see so many perfect examples of 3rd Realm beings, but be told they are not! Still, she seemed nice enough.

Ms. Gwynyth: Courteous enough. How does she change forms without the Shifter Illusion? Something to ponder.

Mr. Walker (Jonas): Quite the intellectual fellow, and willing to speak on his knowledge. A boon to a scholar such as Koricos, who has been noting down all his instructions on technologies denied the Angdri. Willingly has Koricos' assistance, should he ask.
GONE

Mr. and Mrs. Yamusa (Sheinkin and Raven): A strong family, taking in Karone as their own, and on such a world!
GONE

Karone: His student in reading, and someone whom he feels protective of, especially now.
GONE

Ms. Usako: The local healer, and as he stated, "a mother hen".
GONE

Ms. Mahdis: A co-worker with whom Kori has shared a fair amount of his history. She seems a fine person to be around. There is something hidden though, he thinks.
GONE

Ms. Beth: A friend who seems quite open and talkative. Kori has the impression of her sexual orientation, but deems it not his business, and likes her friendship no less for it.

Ms. Taz (Octavia Emily Francis): His one and only, now. The woman has put him through much, and changed him for the better, in his opinion. In return he has done much to and for her. Its a give and take relationship.

Ms. Callie: His boss at the Agency. An interesting woman who insists on calling him a djinn. Talented and studious mage, which he agrees with.

Ms. Cooper (Evelyn): Another interesting woman he endeavored to help on her first few days. Now the girlfriend of another of his friends.

Mr. Trossen (Tom): A nice guy, who has adapted well to the world and tries his hardest to help others. Despite some hiccups they're still good friends.
