Soul Keeper
This God's task is to gather the souls given it by Death's Messenger and place them into the Circle (where they are cycled back into rebirth) in order of their life deeds and purity. The position is currently held by the Ferryman, after the Erlkonig was cast down.

Erlkonig
Once he was the representation of the Soul Keeper and Death's Messenger, at the same time. This was before the task was divided up. During his daily duties of collecting the dead spirits and ferrying them to the Circle, he became supremely interested in the act of dying and what could become of it. He witnessed millions of different deaths, and their final prayers and words. He wanted to use this. Slowly, he siphoned off the dead in small amounts, hiding them on Kole. With these, he performed experiments on un-Life. But he was found out by Andromeda, the Goddess of Life at the time. She worked to have him banished and his power stripped.

Even as a floating spirit on Kole, though, the Erlkonig kept a portion of his power. And when Andromeda fell and the Gods backed off of Kole, he moved. He took all the dead souls he had stolen and gave them false life, then moved to war on the rest of the continent. Only by the combined force of several demigods did he get thrown back. In an effort to seal him off, Andromeda worked with the others to create the Barrier, but the blast of her Life power "healed" the Erlkonig's undead army, giving birth to... the Wastelanders of the Icelands.

Andromeda
Once the representation of Life.

The Others
Once the representation of The Unknown.

Ra
