Physical Description:
Frühling, are a cat-like humanoid, most resembling an anthropormorphized bobcat or lynx.

They have powerful legs, are apt at jumping (Normal male Fruhling can at a standstill, jump about 10-12 feet forward and 3-4 feet off the ground strait up; while running, about 15-17 feet), and can survive falls without injury that would break a human's leg(s) (Only if they land on thier feet, max distance to fall and land on feet without injury is about two stories, no more).

Gaite has a slender frame and medium build. Gaite is an average Frühling in looks with the exception of some very handsome 8" long ears, and his coat is mostly pale orange in color with the occasional white spot. He has tufts of fur at the tips of his ears (about 4" long), and his eyes are deep blue. Gaite usually wears a kilt and a cloth long sleeve shirt, but other times wears longer pants when it suits him. His attire could be considered well off, most of the time he is well dressed. Gaite wears his mace and sword, hooked onto his belt.

Gaite tends to smile alot and is always very nice to females, although they sometimes take advantage of his kindness. He is currently entangled in a romantic relationship with fem-feline angel, Usako

Gaite still has the Pixie RFID chip in his butt-cheek.

Personal Information, History, Background:
Gaite grew up in the outskirts of the large Frühling city of Weinhard, Earth (Cir. 10,000 A.D.)

Gat, was born in a litter of four, and has two sisters and one brother. He was trained along with his brother in clawed hand to hand combat, by their father, A combat training officer in the Imperial Army. Gaite started training with his father and brother at 12 years old.

he and his brother mastered what their father had taught them in only 3 years. Most Fruhling students took up to five years to complete the clawed fighting course. Gaite and his brother had only started taking the armed combat course and at age 16, Vorhang armies attacked the city without provocation.

The Vorhang were vicous abominations, each one able to rape the mind of their victims with their telepathy. The worst part being, they eat you after they've killed you.

Gaite was separated from his family during the army's retreat and evacuation of the city when the bridge they were crossing colapsed, and all except Gaite fell into the river. The only reason Gaite had not fallen as well is because of Commander Turt Rent, who caught Gaite before he fell.

Commander Turt took Gaite to the Fruhling capital of Hone after the crushing defeat of Fruhling imperial forces at Weinhard. There, Turt used his influence as a commander to get Gaite a job, and he was employed by the human restaurant owner Dave Alut, as a cook.

At the age of 21 Gat was informed by his father's friend and former commander, Turt, that he heard of the possibity one of Gaite's sisters though one of his connections in the human town of Kalcook, over the northwest mountain range.

Gaite was determined to find her, and Turt was unable to convince him to wait until spring to cross the mountains. Before Gaite left though, Turt gave him a Frühling Imperial arm brace, an item created by human wizards under contract by the Imperium for high ranking soldiers in order to protect thier minds from vorlong assaults.

How He Arrived on Kaerwyn:
Almost freezing to death in the Northwest mountain pass Gaite found an open rift and decided to pass through it rather than freeze to death. He regrets not being able to find his sister, and blames himself for not being prepared to cross the mountain pass.

Weapons:

Physical Description: 3/4 inch long claws one on each finger and each toe. Very sharp.

Physical Description: Two foot long mundane steel short sword with sheath. It is an actual combat weapon, and is fairly sharp along the entire length of the blade.

Training: Gaite's swordsmanship training makes him effective in using this weapon.

Special Equipment

Physical Description: A bracer, to put it simply. Steel plate is 1/4 inch thick and 14 inches long covering the outer forearm area when worn. The plate is mounted into a leather binding to be worn on the arm with criss-crossed leather ties Gold inlay designs on steel plate.

Magical/Other: Magic Item, strongly enchanted; shields wearer from telepathic detection and invasion. In effect, makes the wearer appear 'invisible' to telepathy. Gaite's 'telepathic signature' if you will, would be extremely hard to pin down while he's wearing it. However if a skilled telepath is persistent and suitably skilled at such things he/she may be able to achieve a connection with the wearer after a period of trial and error. For telepathic invaders, I will roll 1d100 with a 5% chance of finding the wearer's mind. Add a bonus of 5% if that person has uber-will or some sort of high skill in telepathic detection, additional bonus may apply if applicable. (Note: If a char has no skill in bypassing or defeating defenses against telepathy, the roll will be adjusted to 1% with no bonuses)

The bracer's magic is driven by the wearer's natural energies. It is essentially a solid state magic machine, activates upon being worn by a compatible 'fuel source'. However, it does not draw enough energy from a person while functioning to be able to tire them, and can be worn for extended periods of time with no noticeable effects.

Training: Effective as armor.

Espie Skills

Gaite along with a small percentage of Fruhlings are able to sense imminent danger. Gaite is able to react faster to a threat in combat (if he knows where it's coming from) than most humans or Fruhlings because of this.

Examples:

Gaite can't tell if someone is sneaking up on him with the intent to kill him, but Sense Danger makes him more alert and will wake him if he's sleeping.

Sense Danger would work for guns/ranged weapons/magic too, but dodging a bullet is what he can't do. He could sense danger when you point a weapon or cast magic at him though, regardless of wether he sees it or not. Sense Danger does not tell Gaite what is threatening him, only that something is threatening him directly.

*Functions as a sixth sense and is affected adversely by anything that would effect Gaite's normal senses adversely.

Special Skills:

Can cook just about everything. Spicy foods are his favorite to cook. And he just keeps getting better.
