Physical Description:
Frühling, are a cat-like humanoid, most resembling an anthropormorphized bobcat or lynx.

They have powerful legs, are apt at jumping (Normal male Fruhling can at a standstill, jump about 10-12 feet forward and 3-4 feet off the ground strait up; while running, about 15-17 feet), and can survive falls without injury that would break a human's leg(s) (Only if they land on their feet, max distance to fall and land on feet without injury is about two stories, no more).

Caster has a medium build, and is very strong, although he does have a little bit of definition, this is not really visible with his fur and all. Caster is a fairly handsome Frühling in looks, with pronounced facial features, and a confident demeanor. He has a fairly noticeable scar on the front of his nose. His coat is orange in color with a white stripe widening from his nose back to the bottom of the back of his head and to his neck, His belly and groin area are also white. He has tufts of fur about 5" long at the tips of his 6" long ears, and his eyes are purple due to a genetic anomaly with his eye pigment. Caster sometimes wears a Terran Marine Corps uniform with sergeant insignia, name tag (last name), and branch insignia; is mostly gray with black stripes. However, he's more prone to tropical clothing. Wears a gold ring with a onyx stone set into it on his left hand's ring finger. Wears cargo pants and Hawaiian shirts when not in uniform, does wear body armor under it, and conceals his weapon in the small of his back in the holster.

Caster's had a lot of contact with humans; As the ships he's been on have a mixed crew. Caster is a bit more adept at dealing with people from different cultures than Fruhlings in the past would be. Caster also has no qualms about relations with humans (As do many but not all at this time period), even though Fruhlings are unable to have children with them. Caster's guilty pleasure is using women's shampoo of his fur, cause it makes his coat all shiny and a pleasure to 'pet'.

Personal Information, History, Background:
Caster was born on a Terran Republic long range cruiser; "The Song of Joy". After the Cruiser's return to Earth from its picket mission, Caster's Mother, Blanchet Rowoot, was discharged from service honorably from the TRN (Terran Republican Navy) so she could take care of her only child by her lonesome. Caster would never know his father but soon grew up to be a fine young gentleman, who took an interest in joining the Marines at a young age. Caster's mother encouraged him and would frequently teach him about ship classifications and weapons. His mother even taught Caster how to knit, strangely enough, and he never put it down. After Caster graduated from General Education (Just a bit more than modern high school standards) at the age of 18 he got a job in high-tech Ceramics manufacturing. There, he learned how to be a decent machinist. He held that job for about six years before finally joining the Marines.

Caster then successfully completed the year long indoctrination and training that a recruit must undertake to become a Marine. At age 25, Caster was assigned to a destroyer called, "The Song of Searing Pain". Caster was assigned to the arms room on board ship under the supervision of Chief Warrant Officer Bill Underwood. Caster helped maintain the weapons on board ship as well as issuing out firearms for training events and actions. Being such a small ship Caster was forever bored, and frequently just played cards with Bill and other Marines when he had nothing going on in the arms room. Between working and his free time Caster loved to play games with the ship's AEP (Advanced Electronics Package; essentially a organic computer), although finds it highly annoying at times. "The Song of Searing Pain" never really saw any action other than inspecting merchant ships for prohibited items, much to Caster's dismay. In fact the only 'action' he saw while on board was the valve for the shower when he slipped in it, cutting his nose badly. Caster remained assigned to "The Song of Searing Pain" for five years until he was promoted and reassigned to a Short range cruiser called "The Song of Cutting Might". There Caster was a Squad Leader of a security detail, part of a platoon in charge of the ship's brig. Caster is currently still aboard "The Song of Cutting Might" and loves his job.

Aboard ship, Caster likes to spend his free time playing cards and Video games with his fellow marines and the crew of the ship, as well as Knitting, which he is constantly picked on about. Caster, being a marine, is constantly working out to maintain himself to the standards of the Corps. Caster also has a human friend named Sheila Brackish that he visits when the ship comes back to port to restock every month. Caster and Sheila are involved with each other in a complex way, they both consider each other good friends, yet they are a bit more than /just/ friends.

How He Arrived on Kaerwyn:
Walked into an invisible rift while escorting a young Naval Officer to the brig under charges of possession of drugs aboard ship.

Equipped Weapons:

Physical Description: 3/4 inch long claws; one on each finger and each toe. Very sharp.
Training: Marine Corps hand to hand combat training. Basic stuff here, nothing fancy.

Physical Description: A large hand pistol resembling a very modern automatic pistol. Holds 13+1 Rnds. light to moderate recoil, 5" barrel is ported. Very accurate and reliable. Has a Grip safety and a double trigger safety, also has a loaded chamber indicator and a hammer position indicator, no switchable safety. The sights glow in the dark, very slightly. Has the TRMC emblem engraved on both sides of the slide.
Training: Good shot with this weapon, but not anything amazing.
Springfield XD .45 pictured
Damage: Offers good penetration, though tends not to over penetrate. Bullet will retain most of it's weight during entry, fragmentation is negligible unless it strikes bone. Makes a larger perminate cavity (expanding round) as it travels through the body as opposed to a smaller wound that would be received by FMJ rounds *type of round is indicated by inventory below*

Caster's FMJ rounds are heavier, and tend to provide more penetration than his JHPs. Although they have less cavitation. Silver round noses tend to have slightly less Penetration, and tend to fragment more.

Special Skills:

Caster is able to speak English and Arabic (Farsi) fluently. Though he cannot read in the latter. He knows a very basic level of German and Emotive, but to the point that he's not effective in communicating in either. However he is able to pick certain things out of conversations.

He'll try and get you to come along quietly and not make his job any harder. He can also be very charming despite the marine-ness of it all.

Caster hasn't done anything in this field in some time, but it should come back to him easily enough if he must use this skill.

As well as being able to make the grunting noises well, Caster has great endurance with carrying large loads long distances.

Caster is well trained in how to move through ships, on land, and in otherwise close quarters, under tactical conditions.

Caster can use a mundane pistol fairly well. He hasn't had much training in energy based weapons though, and was never really great at rifles although he does at least pass Corps standards. Caster also has training in the operation of crew served weapons like machine guns and grenade launchers.

Caster is really good at knitting surprisingly, he has enough skill and has practiced enough that he can craft things like sweaters easily, although it takes time.

Caster has Marine Corps training in giving basic medical attention; This may include applying bandages, CPR and rescue breathing, the Heimlich maneuver, applying splints to stabilize broken bones, and Evaluating a casualty for injuries.
